Science Fair Reflection

My science fair project was challenging because we could not cooperate.

My science fair project was challenging but we finished in the end.

My science fair project was challenging so we stared working with a teacher.

Homopolar motor

This is relatively easy to create the result is amazing – Perfect for little kids.

Equipment:

  • Copper wire.
  • Battery.
  • Neodymium magnets.

Instructions:

  1. Twist the copper wire around the battery
  2. Make the copper wire touch the magnets and the top of the battery.
  3. Connect the magnets to the flat side of the battery.
  4. Watch it spin.If it doesn’t work check you have the right magnets and the wire is touching the right spots

This is a great experiment but it might not work sometimes.

We have two main players: a magnet and a wire. The magnet has an invisible field called a magnetic field that pushes and pulls on things. The wire acts as a track for tiny, invisible charged particles called electrons that flow when you connect it to a battery.

When the electrons travel through the wire near the magnet’s field, they experience a special push or shove called the Lorentz force. This force acts like a tiny sideways nudge, trying to push the electrons in a specific direction.

Homopolar motor

Today we made a homopolar motor with Fi. we used 1 battery, 3 neodymium magnets and copper wire. We have been learning about magnets and how electromagnetism works.

When the wire was connected to the battery and touching the magnets, it spun. It converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.

hazard sign

Hello Austin here me,Ricardo and Kristian made a hazard sign. Make sure to be safe instead of sorry amd most important.

HAVE FUN!

Beach ED

Beach Education Day

On Wednesday we went to the North Beach Surf club for Beach Education with the lifeguards. We learnt about what the lifeguards do. One of the things they do is saving people from rips. One of the most interesting things I learnt during the day was about rips in the water. This was interesting because I felt a rip pulling me out to sea. The most challenging part of the trip was wading through the water. The best part of the day was when I made Jaxon G a “shark mermaid” with sand.
